An area of low pressure will develop and bring bands of heavy rain to parts of Ireland. The accumulated rainfall is expected to reach 30-40mm across the warning area within six hours, perhaps exceeding 50 mm in total within the warning period. Locally high rainfall amounts are expected across higher grounds.
