Storm CiarƔn is expected to move northeastwards across the southwest England on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Damaging winds are likely to develop along the southern flank of this area of low pressure, especially in coastal locations. Coastal areas of southwest England are likely to experience very strong southwesterly winds, where is likely to reach 70-80 mph across inland area of Cornwall, and possibly 80-90 mph across exposed coasts. The wind will gradually ease through Thursday afternoon.
