An area of low pressure will develop and bring a few bands of heavy rain to parts of the south and west, these heavy rain will be prolonged as well. At first, these showers might be wintery across the mountain and bring some icy conditions in places and then turn into rain later. The accumulated rainfall is expected to reach 30-40mm across the warning area, with a risk of exceeding 50mm across mountain areas and the south coasts, 70-100 mm possible across Dartmoor. This might bring flooding and travel disruption in places. Few sporadic thunderstorms are possible within the heaviest downpour.
The update removed NW England from the low impact area and extended the low impact area to the east. A moderate impact area has also been issued for parts of SE England as well.
