An upper low will bring some heavy and thundery showers to parts of the UK. Thunderstorms with small hail are possible across the parts of the ENHANCED risk area. Elsewhere in the SLIGHT risk area, some sporadic lightning and thunderstorms are possible, especially across parts of northeast England. Surface flooding is also likely across the parts of heaviest showers especially across the SEVERE risk area in south England as 30-50 mm of rain is possible within three or four hours
