A cold front will bring some heavy showers across parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Northern England and Scotland at Thursday night, where some of these showers might develop into some scattered elevated thunderstorms in places. MUCAPE of 300-500 J/kg allows some convective showers to develop across parts of Scotland at night, therefore a slight risk has been issued. Thundery showers might continue across Orkney at Friday morning but it is out of the outlook time span so it is not in the slight risk.
