There is a very small chance of thunderstorms developing throughout the day on Sunday.
Firstly, there is a scope of CAPE ( 400-700 J/kg) across the North Sea, this might bring some showers to the North Sea, perhaps developing into isolated thunderstorms across parts of East Anglia. However, those thunderstorms will likely stay weak as there is very little low-level and deep-level shear.
Starting from the late morning, the moisture from the upper low will develop into showers, where some of them will be heavy due to surface heating. Most of the strongest convection is due to be in the South East, London and East Anglia in the late afternoon, although most will be heavy showers. If the right conditions come together there will be a better chance of some small cells forming throughout the afternoon/evening on Sunday.
