On Tuesday, there's a modest potential for thunderstorms to form in the South West of Ireland. A low-pressure system situated near the coast of Spain is anticipated to usher in a spell of wet conditions across Southern Ireland during the daytime. With Convective Available Potential Energy (CAPE) ranging between 700-1000 J/kg, coupled with the influence of an upper-level trough, there's a likelihood of isolated thunderstorm activity occurring across Ireland. These thunderstorms could bring locally heavy rainfall and small hail.
