A cold front will sink south on Monday night, bringing rain in central England at first, this will turn into sleet and snow overnight. 1-3 cm of snow is possible in this area, bringing icy conditions to untreated roads in the morning.
At the moment, the intensity and timing of the cold front are quite uncertain, so this might require an update later.
