An area of low pressure will develop and bring bands of showers to parts of the north and west, this will also often be accomplished with gusty wind, especially across the northern coast. Gust is likely to reach 45- 65 mph for more than 6 hours and isolated gust reaches 75-85 mph across Tuesday night.
A red warning has been issued for parts of Scotland as gust is likely to exceed 75 mph widely in these areas, 80-85 mph likely across exposed coasts, and 90 mph across Orkney.
This update removes parts of Sutherland and Aberdeenshire from the red warning as the most damaging gusts are expected to only impacts exposed coasts
An amber warning has been issued for parts of Scotland and Northeast England. Gust is likely to reach 60-70 mph in these areas, perhaps exceeding 70 mph on exposed coasts.
A yellow warning has been issued for parts of Northern Ireland, Northern England, and Wales. Gusts are likely to reach 45-55 mph in these areas.
