Scattered showers will develop in the late morning inland, perhaps turning heavy and thundery in parts of England and Wales. These thunderstorms will likely be short-lived and sporadic. Hail showers are also possible within the heaviest showers as well.
The update merged the "most likely area of lightning" due to the latest model guidelines.
