An area of low pressure will introduce a band of heavy rain across parts of England and Wales over the day, where some of the rain will weaken across Northern England, allowing daytime heating to occur, this will promote the development of convection, therefore thunderstorms will develop across parts of Northwest England at first, then moving northeast into Northeast England. Some of these thunderstorms will be organised, so there is a risk of localised flooding and hail.
