Scattered showers will develop in the early afternoon across Northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, perhaps turning thundery across the slight risk areas (especially across northern parts of Scotland). These thunderstorms might bring some localised flooding. Hail showers are also possible within the heaviest showers as well.
Another band of showers will move into England and Wales overnight, perhaps bringing some elevated thunderstorms across Cornwall, bringing a risk of localised flooding.
