Storm Debi is expected to move northeastwards across Ireland and Northern England on Monday. Potential damaging winds might develop along the southern flank of this area of low pressure, especially in the amber warning. Many parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Northern England are likely to experience very strong southwesterly winds, where is likely to reach 50-60 mph across inland, and possibly 70-80 mph across exposed coasts across Ireland. The wind will gradually ease through Monday afternoon.
