An area of low pressure will develop and bring bands of heavy rain to parts of the west, this will also often be accomplished with gusty wind, especially across the western coast. Gusts are likely to reach 45- 55 mph inland, perhaps 55-65 mph across western coasts. There is also a higher likelihood of gusts reaching 60-65 mph across parts of southwest England, hence an amber warning has been issued for this area.
