An area of low pressure will develop across southwest England on Wednesday afternoon, bringing a band of snow into places. A period of snow is likely after dawn, widely 1-3 cm of accumulation is likely, perhaps 3-7 cm across parts of Wales. This band of snow will be disruptive in rush hours, as icy conditions are likely to develop on untreated surfaces.
