An area of low pressure will develop and bring a band of slow-moving heavy rain to parts of the west, especially across the Northwest and Northern Ireland. Accumulated rainfall is forecasted to exceed 30mm across the warning area within 12 hours, with a risk of exceeding 60mm across mountain areas. This might bring localised flooding and travel disruption in places. Few sporadic thunderstorms are possible within the heaviest downpour.
