UPDATE (14:10 UTC+1):
Expanded the slight risk to cover the eastern side of SE England as the saturation is not as strong as expected, therefore more thundery showers could develop within that area.
Isolated showers could develop in front of the occluded front, allowing isolated lightning strikes along the M4 corridor as well as western parts of Ireland during the afternoon.
During the evening, a surface low pressure over France will push a plume of warm, unstable air northwards at times into southern parts of England during the afternoon and could trigger some elevated convection with the risk of one or two scattered thunderstorms across parts of southern England. Overall the risk is deemed quite low therefore a low end slight risk has been issued.
