Scattered showers will develop in the late morning inland, perhaps turning heavy and thundery in parts of Ireland, southwest England and Wales. These thunderstorms will likely be short-lived and sporadic. Hail showers are also possible within the heaviest showers as well.
A severe weather risk has also been issued for parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland as there is a risk of one or two brief tornadoes/ funnel cloud
