Early Sunday will see a cooler westerly wind spreading across many regions of the British Isles as an occludent front moves in. Behind this front, there's a chance for isolated elevated thunderstorms to form over Ireland and Wales due to moderate deep-level shear and weak CAPE (200 - 500 J/KG), although the limited low-level shear might hamper development. Later in the morning and early afternoon, there could be a slight increase in CAPE across the south and east, possibly leading to a few isolated thunderstorms, particularly over southeast England. These showers may produce small hail.
