An upper low will bring some heavy and thundery showers to most of the UK as it reacts with surface heating, thunderstorms with moderate or even large size hail are possible across the SEVERE risk areas, whereas the highest risk of severe storms is around Wales and West Midland. Elsewhere in the SLIGHT risk area, some sporadic lightning and thunderstorms are possible, especially across parts of East Midland and East Anglia. Surface flooding are also likely across the parts of heaviest showers as very dry surface increase the risk of flooding.
