An upper low will bring some heavy and thundery showers to parts of the north and west as it reacts with surface heating, thunderstorms with moderate or even large size hail are possible across both of the ENHANCED risk areas, whereas the highest risk of severe storms is across parts of the northern and east Ireland. Elsewhere in the SLIGHT risk area, some sporadic lightning and thunderstorms are possible, especially across parts of north-western parts of England and northern parts of Wales. Surface flooding are also likely across the parts of Ireland.
